What we do
International Magnetic Solutions has the only magnetiser in Australia, enabling us to offer a magnetising service for all types of magnet material.
Our magnetising facility can generate field strengths of 40,000 oersted within a coil of diameter 200 mm x 300 mm long – high enough to fully saturate all your magnet products.
Typical magnetising field strengths for common magnet materials are:
- Ferrite (Anisotropic) – 1000 kA/m (12000 Oe)
- Alnico – 500 kA/m (6000 Oe)
- Samarium Cobalt – 2000 kA/m (24000 Oe)
- Neodymium Iron Boron – 3500 kA/m (40000 Oe)
